You
step aboard Elegance via her bathing platform at the stern
of the boat. Then up a step, through the transom door and
into the cockpit. Here, a large table and directors chairs
are set out below a canopy, which can be partially or completely
removed. This is an excellent place to dine or just sit
and watch the world go by. At one side of the cockpit, there
are outside steps to the upper flybridge, and in the centre,
a large curved, smoked glass sliding door leads into the
spacious saloon. Here a comfortable circular leather settee,
is set around a coffee table, and opposite a sideboard,
which houses the digital TV and video, as well as a cocktail
cabinet and icemaker
Access
to the dinning area is forward, and up two steps where
the circular dining table also has leather seats and
from where there is a splendid view through the windows.
Behind the dinning table a side deck door leads to
the sunbathing area on the bow. Opposite the dining
table inside is the lower helm, where the ship's main
instruments are positioned. Most of these instruments
are repeated up on the flybridge enabling the boat
to be driven from either station. |

From
the saloon, by the sideboard, a flight of steps leads
down to a fully fitted galley, where a built in ceramic
hob, microwave oven and grill, along with fridge and
dishwasher are housed. Down a further two steps from
the galley, a door leads to the laundry room where
there is a full size washing machine, tumble dryer
and food freezer, and of course, a built in ironing
board. For your comfort Elegance is fully air conditioned
and centrally heated throughout. There are two rest-rooms,
each with hot and cold running water, electric toilets
and showers. There is also a hot shower outside on
the bathing platform. So if you feel like a swim,
you can have a freshwater shower before coming back
inside the boat. |
An
interior staircase leads directly from the saloon up to
the flybridge where on warm sunny days we spend most of
our time. At sea or at anchor this is the place to be. On
the flybridge there is ample seating around a table, and
further seats next to the Captain. A large sunbathing area
is positioned behind the seating, and in the middle of the
flybridge deck there is a built in electric barbecue, fridge
and hand basin, with hot and cold running water.
